Scarsdale Chinese Association Hosts Annual Lunar New Year Celebration

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, the Scarsdale Chinese Association held its annual Lunar New Year celebration at the Scarsdale Congregational Church. The event featured festive red lanterns and traditional decorations, along with performances including a dragon dance, music, and both traditional and modern dances. To accommodate attendees, the event was held in two sessions, welcoming approximately 400 guests in total. The celebration was supported by local businesses and the community’s Chinese school, with volunteers playing a key role in organizing the event. Families and neighbors gathered to enjoy food, games, and a holiday boutique, while Deputy Mayor Gruenberg attended to extend New Year wishes for joy, renewal, and prosperity to all who celebrate.
