Health Leader to Chair 2025 Westchester/Fairfield Go Red for Women Campaign

The American Heart Association, a relentless force for longer, healthier lives, is bringing back the Westchester/Fairfield Go Red for Women Celebration, and Dr. Kim Henderson, managing director and head of Wealth Management Health & Wellness Education at Morgan Stanley, has stepped up to lead the campaign as this year’s chairperson. The 2025 Go Red for Women Celebration will take place on March 20, 5 p.m., at Whitby Castle in Rye.

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women, yet women remain underdiagnosed and undertreated. From receiving bystander CPR to facing inequities in care, women deserve better. Go Red for Women is committed to closing gaps in access to care and championing community and support.

“I am honored to serve as the chairperson of this year’s Go Red for Women Campaign,” Dr. Henderson said. “Heart disease and stroke affect so many women, and by coming together, we can raise awareness and drive change to improve women’s health outcomes.”

Kristen Alouisa, executive director of the American Heart Association — Westchester and Fairfield Counties, said, “We are thrilled to have Dr. Henderson lead this year’s campaign. Her unwavering commitment to health and wellness education is truly inspiring, and together, we can empower women to take charge of their heart health.”

The Westchester/Fairfield Go Red for Women Celebration is made possible by the support of our national sponsor, CVS Health, along with dedicated local sponsors, volunteers and attendees who share the vision of a world free of heart disease and stroke. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about heart health, connect with community leaders and celebrate the resilience of survivors.
