Girl Scouts Donate 360 Pounds of Cookies to Feeding Westchester
Feeding Westchester received a sweet surprise thanks to the Girl Scouts of the Scarsdale-Edgemont Service Unit, part of Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc. last summer. The troop dropped off 52 cases—360 pounds—of Girl Scout Cookies to Feeding Westchester’s Distribution Center.
As part of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, customers have the option to donate their purchases to Operation Cookie Drop or a local charity of choice. The Scarsdale-Edgemont Girl Scouts selected Feeding Westchester, ensuring their community’s food bank could share the cookies with neighbors in need.
The cookies will be incorporated into Feeding Westchester’s regular food distributions, offering a welcomed treat to families visiting partner food pantries across the county.
