New York State Senator Shelley B. Mayer secured $100,000 in state funding to assist the Scarsdale Police Department in purchasing two new motorcycles and a motorcycle trailer. “It is crucial that our local police departments and officers have the necessary resources to respond to emergencies, engage in traffic control and keep our communities safe,” said Mayer.
